The Offer Ladder Audit: map your client journey, cut to four offers, know what to build first
Ninety minutes. One page.
A build list you can act on Monday.
7
journey stages mapped
4
offers on your ladder
10
guided steps, each timed
90
minutes start to finish

You don't have a marketing problem

You have an offer problem, and it shows up in three ways.

01
You're selling seven things Or nine. You couldn't say all of them out loud right now without checking a document, which means your buyer definitely can't hold them in their head either.
02
There's a canyon in the middle A free download, then something expensive, and nothing between them. People who want you but aren't ready for the big number have nowhere to go, so they go quiet.
03
Everything runs through you The follow-up, the invoice, the onboarding, the check-in. You've been told to automate it. Nobody's told you what to automate, or in what order.

All three come from the same place: nobody has ever laid your business out on one page. Once it's on the page, the fixes stop being a guessing game and turn into a list in priority order.

THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL BUILD

Your whole business on one page

Seven stages across the top. Both pathways underneath. Your five checkpoints along the bottom. Printed and stuck on the wall, it answers every question you have about how someone becomes a client.

Preview of the finished client journey map

Blurred on purpose. The shape is the easy part. What goes in those boxes is your business, and filling them in is the work you'll do inside.

What the audit actually is

A guided, self-paced audit of your offers and your client journey. You work through ten steps in about ninety minutes and produce one page that shows how a stranger becomes a client and what happens after they buy.

It's a working session with instructions, not a course to watch. There are no videos to get through and no modules to unlock. You open it, you answer, you finish with something on paper.

Every instruction is written for someone doing this for the first time. If you've never mapped a client journey before, nothing in here assumes you have.

What you walk away with

1
One finished journey map All seven stages, both pathways, and your five checkpoints on a single landscape page you can print and hand to someone.
2
A ladder cut down to four offers One free entry point, one first paid step, one core offer, one continuing offer. Plus a keep, merge, or retire decision on everything else.
3
Your connector sentences One written sentence bridging each rung to the next. Any gap you can't bridge in a sentence is a gap your buyer feels too.
4
The build list Every step marked Built, Half-built, or Doesn't exist. This is the page that changes what you do Monday morning.

The half-builts show you where your week is going. The doesn't-exists show you where your revenue is going. Most people find both lists shorter and more fixable than they expected.

What's inside

Part 1
The seven stages
Discover, Engage, Nurture, Identify the Need, Choose a Path, Decide, Transform. What each one does, and what your job is inside it.
Part 2
The offer ladder
How many offers you should have and why, plus the six specific ways a crowded ladder costs you money. Includes the thirty-second test.
Part 3
Ten build steps
Each one timed, in order, written for a first-timer. Step 10 is the one that produces your build list.
Part 4
A finished example
A complete map for a bookkeeping business, filled in end to end: the map, the working notes, the connector sentences, and the build list with the gaps left visible.
Part 5
The worksheet
Printable fill-in pages for your stages, your four rungs, your connector sentences, and your five checkpoints.
Part 6
The AI prompt
Copy it, paste it into whichever tool you use, and turn your answers into the printable one-page graphic. Includes the instructions that stop it inventing offers you don't have.
Part 7
Check your work
Four questions your finished map has to answer in seconds, and the seven mistakes that show up most often.

You're not filling in a blank page

The hardest part of any worksheet is the first empty box. So Part 4 gives you a complete map for a bookkeeping business, with real-sounding offers, real prices, a supported pathway built out, and a self-directed lane left empty on purpose with the reason written next to it.

You see the finished map, then the working notes underneath it, then the connector sentences, then the build list where a $297 offer is marked half-built because it has no checkout page and only sells when the owner remembers to bring it up.

Most people recognize themselves somewhere in that build list. That's the point of putting it in front of you before you start your own.

This is for you if

  • You're already selling something and want the pieces put together into a system.
  • You've added offers over time and can't say the whole list out loud anymore.
  • Your free thing gets downloads and your paid thing sells, and nothing connects the two.
  • You want to know what to build before you spend money building it.
  • You'd rather have one honest page than another course you don't finish.

This isn't for you if

  • You haven't sold anything yet. Go make an offer and sell it once, then come back. There's nothing to audit yet.
  • You want more traffic and leads. This fixes what happens to people once they arrive.
  • You want someone to build it for you. That's a different conversation, and it's linked further down.
  • You're looking for scripts, hooks, or content tactics. None of those are in here.

Where this picks up

If you've worked through the free Serve to Scale Workbook, this is your next step and it starts exactly where that one ended.

The workbook walks you through the five points every business runs on: Serve, Target, Connect, Lead, and Multiply. It ends with you knowing which one is your bottleneck. Three of those five live inside your offer ladder:

Serve What you sell. Your four rungs and the results each one delivers.
Lead The ask. Your one primary call to action, named the same way everywhere.
Multiply The repeat. What happens after delivery ends, and what earns you a referral.

Once you know which of the five points is your bottleneck, the next step is the Offer Ladder Audit, because Serve, Lead, and Multiply all live inside your offer ladder, and you can't fix any of the three until you can see the whole ladder on one page.

Haven't done the workbook yet? Start there. It's free, it takes an afternoon, and it decides the audience sentence you'll need in Step 1 of the audit.

Where this came from

I ran a coaching program at $367 a month. In 2025 I retired it and moved to building systems for people instead of teaching them to build their own.

The framework didn't retire with it. The free Serve to Scale Workbook is the method that program ran on. The Offer Ladder Audit is where you apply it to your own offers: the client journey, the four rungs, the connector sentences, and the build list. Together, those two are the working core of what people paid $367 a month for.

To be straight with you about what's missing: a program has live calls, feedback on your specific answers, and a room of people going through it with you. This has none of that. What it has is the work itself, the part that produced the results, for $27 instead of $367 a month.

I'm not restarting the program, and this isn't a way back into it. If you finish the audit and want the system built rather than taught, that's implementation, and it's a different conversation further down this page.

What happens when you finish

You'll have a map, a four-rung ladder, and a build list. Plenty of people take that list and build it themselves. The audit is written so you can.

Some people look at the list and realize the building is the part they don't want to do: the pages, the checkout, the follow-up sequences, the pipelines, and the automation that fires whether or not they're at their desk. That's the work I do.

Bring your finished map to a Breakthru The Noise call and we'll go through it together. Forty-five minutes, your real numbers, and a plan in priority order, whether or not you ever work with us.

Questions people ask

How long does it take?
About ninety minutes in one sitting. Every step is timed so you can split it across two evenings if that fits better.
Do I need the free workbook first?
I recommend both, and in that order. The free workbook is the method and this audit is where you apply it, and together they're the working core of the coaching program I ran at $367 a month before I retired it. You can start here if you already know who you serve and what you sell, but you'll get more out of this with the workbook behind you.
What if I only have one offer right now?
Then this shows you the three rungs you're missing and which one to build next. Having too few offers is a shorter problem to fix than having too many.
Is it tied to a particular platform or software?
No. It works the same whether you run on GoHighLevel, Kajabi, ConvertKit, a spreadsheet, or nothing at all.
I serve two different audiences. Does that work?
Yes, and the audit tells you to build two separate maps rather than forcing both onto one page. You'll run the ten steps a second time for the second audience.
Do I need to use AI for it?
Only for the last step, and only if you want the graphic version. The whole audit works on the printable worksheet with a pen.
How do I know if this is right for me?
Read the "this isn't for you if" section above before you buy. If you're still unsure, start with the free workbook and come back once you've worked through it.

One page. Four offers.
A build list.

Ninety minutes from now you could know exactly what your business sells, in what order, and which pieces of it don't actually exist yet.
